Biography
Joerg Proeve is a global insurance technology and strategy executive whose career spans carriers, MGA startups, and management consulting and advisory. He led US operations as COO of BOXX Insurance, a cyber MGA later acquired by Zurich, and founded Parachute Insurance, a parametric MGA for hurricane risk. At CNA he designed the governance framework for a $325M technology portfolio. At Chubb he led strategy initiatives and post-merger integration workstreams following the $28B acquisition. He holds an MBA from London Business School and a Master's in Electrical Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany. He writes regularly on insurance technology, cyber insurance, AI liability, and the MGA market structure in Insurance Thought Leadership, American Banker, and the Breezy Risk Advisors Insights blog.
